It’s fun in Shizuoka too…

It is probably true that you might not have heard of the place called Shizuoka before(Japanophiles you are excluded). And indeed it is not really a region that tourists spend a lot of time in, the foreign (gaijin) ones anyway.

You remember our post on the “hamas“? Probably not.

We were staying for a full week at Hamamatsu on this journey. And this is part of the prefecture of Shizuoka. The featured picture shows the coast being hammered (no pun intended) by the strong surf of the pacific ocean. Sure you can see that in many places. Would that be boring?

In the story of our journey in Shizuoka, we want to show you that there can be fun things to do here too. For one, you have to build bridges to make connections – both physically and also mentally. Find out more about what we mean when you read our story.
