Sooo rainy in Moscow!

What gloomy weather! Rain and clouds have been accompanying us in the last two days. But worry not! We have been making the most of the journey, no less photos taken…

This guy’s thinking…missing the train!

Moscow has turned out to be less foreboding than we imagine it to be. Kind of regret not trying to come here on our own now. But then, in a city of >13 million people it pays to be chaperoned throughout.

One of the things we would do more of is to just take the metro. Yes most if not all the signs are in cyrillic. But with a little figuring out, you will soon be able to ride the length and breadth of the system. 50 rubles give you the chance to explore the statipns for a pittance!

Then there is the Kremlin.

Now we did not see Mr Putin, but we sure did walk around the many cathedrals that ring the front of his official residence. More posts to follow…
